It can be hard to get into the scaffolding industry, but it is possible with the right attitude and skills. Here is a list of the training our staff have and what we would require or advise when applying for the positions in our company. A lot of our staff started with a very basic knowledge and were trained to the positions they are currently in.
Management
- Business Management NVQ 3-4-5, CSCS
- Management experience
- First Aid
In addition to the above, all scaffold managers are trained as scaffold supervisors.
Scaffold Supervisor
- Advanced scaffolding
- Scaffolding supervisor
- LGV licence up to 7.5 tons
- CISRS
- First Aid
- C&G Monitoring, signing, lighting, Guarding
Scaffold supervisors have also completed all training as described in Scaffolding Gangs.
Office Staff
- Administration NVQ2+
- Customer Service NVQ2
- Computer skills
- Reception skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft office
- Basic knowledge of SAGE (helpful)
Yard- varied positions
- CISRS
- Basic Forklift/ Lift operating Training
- Driving licence up to 3.5tons
- LGV licence up to 7.5tons
- Hiab/ Lorry loader 144CL (25TM)
- Manual Handling
- First Aid
- Abrasive Wheels
Scaffolding Gangs
(Please note we have scaffolders with varied qualifications from basic, in training up to advanced)

- Complete Basic part 1
