Our team designed and erected a bespoke bridge scaffold spanning the piers, enabling festival-goers to glide seamlessly between zone. The walkway relies on modular frame components, secured with adjustable baseplates and outrigger stabilisers anchored into compacted aggregate.
🛡️ Steel Boards for Seaside Durability
We’ve introduced galvanized steel boards instead of conventional wooden boards . These Boards better resist corrosion from seawater spray , provide consistent load-bearing capacity (up to 75 kN/m²), and integrate slip-resistant tread patterns for pedestrian safety under all weather .
Corrosion protection: Joints and fittings receive biologically degradable Bio-star chain oil which has viscosity of 200cst which combats salt-laden air and create long term protection against rain deposits, increasing lifespan and reducing maintenance in the festival’s coastal environment.

- Design & certification: Every structure is designed in-house by CITB-certified engineers, aligned with NASC TG20:21 code of practice for tube and fittings systems
· Load testing & inspections: Before public use, static and dynamic load tests simulate footfall. Site Inspectors conduct walk‑through safety inspections, checking critical connections, bracing tightness, and decking stability.
· Community-focused staging: Scaffolding supports not just event signposting but also tents, lights, speaker systems, and crowd control railings—creating a seamless, accessible festival layout.
For the festivals The Iconic “LOVE FOOD” Sign, our scaffold specialists engineered a custom supporting frame, integrating it into the main scaffold structure. Load analysis accounted for the sign’s weight. The result? A flawless suspension that’s both memorable and secure—even in Cornish gusts.
